Stanford's Clackamas

We hired Stanford’s to host a birthday dinner for 43 people in the private room. The experience, from initial contact throughout the entire event could not have been more positive. The tables were beautifully decorated, the catered menu was perfect, and the service was great. They accommodated our vegan and vegetarian guests seamlessly. Would highly recommend for private events.

The ambiance is very relaxing, and the service is excellent. We ordered an appetizer, and it took them a few minutes to serve, and we had time to eat the appetizer. The next was our entree, and the service was speedy. We had cheese bread for the appetizer, half of baby back ribs, and a lunch special which was a chicken salad sandwich. It was delicious!

Food was delicious; service was excellent (thank you, Courtney!). Very accommodating for substitutions requested; servers were attentive but not intrusive. Dessert creme brulee was fantastic!. Prices are quite high, although not unexpected. Great place to treat my family.

Courtney was our server, she made our first experience memorable and we definitely will be returning because of the great service. She made fantastic recommendations and even brought out different sauces to pair with our foods without being asked to do so. Food and atmosphere were extraordinary!

Had a great dinner but the waitress was even better. She was on top of it, super friendly and even when they overcooked our steak,she offered to re cook it. She took it off the bill. Will definitely come back.

Went for a birthday celebration. Great service from the moment we stepped in to when we left. They even decorated our table for the birthday occasion. Cynthia, our server was A. She was patient with our party. Food was absolutely perfectly prepared and presented. The crew worked as a team to bring our order to our table. Loved the comraderie. Highly recommend reservation. Definitely would love to return the next time we're in the area.

My Mom and I came here for an early dinner/ happy hour. It was very easy to find a place to sit in the bar. The bartender/wait staff were fun and attentive. I had the stuffed mushrooms and fish and chips from the happy hour menu. Mushrooms were excellent. Fish was a little greasy. My Mom ordered a French dip and salad and she enjoyed it very much. Really good prices on happy hour, I will go back and try something else and would try the fish again, maybe just a bad night and the oil wasn't hot enough.

First of all, I never thought, ever, I would give a tip more than 20% ever in my life. But the service today at your restaurant was just so exceptionally great. My chicken was cooked perfectly. My husband’s salad (he’s vegetarian) was amazing which I could’ve eaten myself. And the Peach Tea... That’s the first thing I did was to google the recipe. Anyway, the tea just kept on coming. Usually, in a lot of restaurants, refills are always forgotten. More like 10-15 minute wait after you finished your glass. And I’ve gotten used to just taking small sips so it’d last. Not this time. When I finished my second glass, I literally thought to myself, if I get another refill in the next 30 seconds, I’ll have to write a survey and give a 25% tip which I’ve never done before. And of course, Courtney did give me another glass. Courtney is amazing, very friendly, professional, personable, and just on point. So as the other two male employees who kept giving us peach tea. (I’ve never had peach tea before). The hostess who greeted us was wonderful and very welcoming as well!! Now, usually, the service falls through at the end, based on our past experience at a lot of other restaurants. This is when we would wait for about 10, sometimes 15 minutes before we get our check. 98% of the time. Not this time. We got our check/tab within a minute after finishing our dessert. Our dessert was also amazing! Anyway, sorry this was too long. I’m going to post this on Yelp and Google too. We’ve always loved Stanford’s. One of my top 3 restaurants for sure especially after today’s early dinner. Thank you for the amazing service today!
